Is this the developer’s official site?

This is an English introduction and documentation site. Features, price, and compatible system versions follow the App Store product page.

What is the difference between About, Features, Download, and Tutorial?

About says what the app is. Features covers capabilities and devices. Download is only about getting the genuine app. The tutorial is step-by-step. This page answers purchase and account questions.

Why does it have to be the App Store?

That is the genuine distribution channel for this iOS app. This site does not host installers, so there is no second “faster download.”

Does an enterprise certificate or a configuration profile count as genuine?

No. Genuine means your own Apple ID bought it on the App Store, and the developer name is Shadow Launch Technology Limited.

Is every app named Shadowrocket this one?

No. Search results mix in other tools and listings that only borrow the name. The official store name is Shadowrocket, and the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Check the name and the developer. Do not rely on an icon or an unofficial nickname.

Purchase and accounts

What if the app is not available in my country?

It depends on whether the storefront you are signed into still sells the app. Search your local App Store first. The US product page is a stable official listing you can use to confirm the developer and app ID. This site does not help you register, buy, or share accounts. See Download.

Do I pay monthly after the purchase?

What you pay Apple is a one-time client purchase (as shown in the store). If you separately buy nodes from a provider, that is another fee and has nothing to do with the software price.

How does Family Sharing work?

The product page says Family Sharing is supported, with up to six people in the same family for this purchase. Follow whatever the store currently states.

Do I have to buy again after I delete it?

Download it again from Purchased with the same Apple ID that paid. You usually do not pay a second time.

Using the app

Can I run it together with the built-in system VPN?

iOS usually lets only one VPN actually take effect at a time. Leaving another VPN on often means neither side connects. Turn the other VPN off first, then try again.

Will an app update delete my nodes?

Ordinary updates from the store usually keep your data. Still export a backup before a major version change. See Backup, new device, and multiple devices.

It will not install on a work or child’s device?

Screen Time, MDM, or network restrictions can block adding a VPN. That is device policy, not a broken app.

Is there an official Android or Windows version?

There is no official Android or Windows version that matches this app. Do not treat a same-name installer as genuine.

Can I use it without a node?

You can install it and finish VPN permission. Connecting, latency tests, and splitting traffic need your own subscription or server. This site does not provide a proxy service.

What if I leave the switch on?

You can leave it on, but Global left on, nodes that keep reconnecting, or overly frequent automatic tests use more battery. It is steadier to turn it off when you are not using it.

Does the developer collect data?

On the App Store privacy labels, the developer marks that data is not collected. Follow the privacy text on the product page at the time you open it.

Which interface languages are available?

Languages listed on the store page include Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese, and others. Follow what your device actually shows.

Does it work on Apple TV or Vision?

The product page lists compatible entries. Whether you can install it follows the App Store on that device. Fuller device notes are in Features.
