Price is whatever the store shows when you open it. The US listing is commonly $2.99; other regions still selling it convert to local currency. The product page says Family Sharing is supported, with up to six people in the same family for this purchase.
After install, the Home Screen icon is a rocket on a dark background. Opening it should show a connection switch and a configuration entry, not a browser or an unrelated website.
The current store does not list it
Some country storefronts no longer list the app. Not finding it only means the store you are signed into is not selling it. It does not mean the app is dead. Search your local App Store first. If it is missing, open the official listing above and see whether the current Apple ID can buy. If it says you cannot download, you need an account in a region where the app is still listed, that you own, and that can pay. This site does not provide shared accounts and does not help you register one.
Do not download an IPA, a configuration profile, or an unofficial installer, and do not sign in with an Apple ID you do not know. An enterprise-certificate or sideloaded install is not the official app either.
What you actually bought
You bought the client, and later updates under the same Apple ID. You did not buy nodes, a subscription, or a remote server. There is no matching official Android or Windows release. Do not treat a same-name APK as a genuine install.
